Robot love, FTW.

The fact that I'm undeterred by the evil oozing off of Le Chiffre in " Casino Royale" says that my hatred of all things INTJ has turned in on me and made me love them. Bastards.

I don't usually get along with other INTJs.

As Augustus once said "Two caesars assholes is one too many"

His/her tasks are.

Can you separate an INTJ's tasks from their own identity? I don't think they can make such a distinction. Apparently the thing they love most is their wretchedly boring work.

This doesn't sound like a bitter lashing out at all.

You are right about the speech patterns. I become most animated when discussing some intellectual or technical topic, perhaps work-related; or when explaining how to do something. When discussing something very personal and emotional, however, I do just the reverse and make sure to speak in as even and restrained a tone as possible. I do not trust myself to do anything else.
It's actually kinda hot:doh:
Damn you, you cold hearted villians! I need to stop the INTJ luv now.

*Sigh* Never Mind. I read far too much into things.
Yes, I'm the cat.

I don't hate INTJ's. My best friend is an INTJ. INTJ's have helped me grow and mature.

I have gotten annoyed when they appear cold or too fixed on what they view as 'orderly' 'practical', but nyeh, we all have strengths and weaknesses -including me.

I dislike one. Why? He thinks I'm playing with him. -_-" He doesn't really trust me much.

Wait, so you guys are the cats, right?

Yes, we are the cats. We want to love on people who ignore us.

But also, there is a theory that people who are obsessed with cats also are attracted to people who dismiss them (you know, the stereotype that cats are distant and disinterested.)

Of course, in my experience, when a cat loves someone (and usually it's only one person, or a limited number of people) cats are actually very lovey dovey and affectionate. They're just more independent (and cleaner, and less annoying) than dogs.

It takes a great deal of patience to coax INTJ kitty out from under the bed.

So we're the cats? That makes no sense. I don't have strange masochist compulsions.

They say NFPs have strange masochistic compulsions.

Especially ENFPs. Why the hell would the type be known for not only being attracted to INTJ, but also ISTJ, if it were otherwise?

Oh I had that happen once. About ten years ago - the first INTJ male that I am conscious of knowing. Didn't trust me, which was sad, because I liked him a lot. Of course, I don't know if I would have trusted me at that point in my life, either.

They're overbearing.
They're cocky.
They're too quick to dismiss an idea before it can develop just because "initial outlook for potential is grim."
They play by an arbitrary set of rules, yet make themselves out to be "free" thinkers.
They're mean to me
They think that it's impossible for them to be wrong.
They pick on every little illogical flaw in an idea, even if the greater idea is sound.
They're scared to explore the abstract world (feelings, fantastic ideas, etc)
They use sarcasm to cover up their own insecurities...
... and are fully aware that they're doing it
They have deep emotions, but then still lack any form of empathy and openly mock anyone who thrives on feelings.
They lack any form of social awareness...
... and don't care
And then they wonder why INFPs might not think they're the greatest things to ever grace our presence.

Yeah, it's not any particular individual, and I certainly don't hold every INTJ to those. Some are totally cool, and who I'd love to talk to for hours. Some I want to push in front of a bus, take a picture of them bleeding in the street, then pretend to call 911 and walk away :whistling:

But there are definitely some that do those things, and there are enough of them that I'm always on edge around a new INTJ until I see what kind of person they'll be
