    Comprehend or follow?

If it's that widespread and apparently irrespective of culture or personality why blame men for it?

With all due respect this is a rather insensitive, cruel, and misandrial statement to make. Not all of us are like this and those of us who are not already have to put up with a lot of cruelty, the feeling of being misunderstood, the feeling of being unwanted or unappreciated and the feeling of being outcasted. Your are not omniscient, you do not know every male that lives, has lived, or will live; how can you cast judgment on us all? Further more when males make misogynistic comments or foolishly and erroneously question a females competency on the grounds that she is female, I am pretty sure that you are not going to like that. And yet you are doing the same thing with a different variation of competency. Also your usage of the word "appear" implies that those characteristics in males are worthless or feigned. That statement can be taken to be an assault on a person's moral integrity, the integrity of their identity, and the integrity of the expression of their identity. Once again you are casting judgment on billions of people without knowing them.

I can understand that you would be upset with the mindlessness and frivolity you may observe at times.I can understand if you see it as disconcerting and irksome. However, how is accusing all of us for things we have not done or attitudes we do not possess seem like a solution or the right thing to do? Those attitudes that annoy you so much are against the worldviews and values some of us hold. Worldviews and values that others may use as justification to call us "sissies", "gay", and innumerable other pejorative terms.Sometimes some of us try to tell other males that those same attitudes that you are also irked by can cause them to hurt people and can rob them of vital opportunities for self growth and development. Statements like your's helps some people form a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" mentality which leads them to continue along the same path you are irked by. So ironically you can end up perpetuating the very attitudes that you so dislike

There are always exceptions to these generalizations... just keep that in mind.

And women really can't comprehend the same dynamics a male can. Enough already.

Even though I am pretty sure I might regret asking, do you believe that to be absolute or something that is generally the case?

I think men and women have the capacity for understanding, or at least having a good grasp of just about anything.
