The point of my post simply addressed the general concept of unsolicited typing and how it shouldn't be taken seriously, since it seemed like the OP might have taken some comments literally, through no fault of her own.

I'm not even going to pretend to guess why you're determined to make this about you... This thread is about a video on a blog by the OP. She wanted to show that INTJs can be silly too..

I guess you never really find me acting silly unless I'm incredibly drunk, but I can act pretty wild at times... but not really silly. I also can act pretty trollish irl too, or being blatantly absurd for a laugh.

ok, just so we're clear: I'm sorry I ruined your thread about you, thescientist. One of my 3 best friends is INTJ and he is actually quite silly, intelligent, and charismatic, just like you. Also, I didn't mean to offend by challenging your type, just to inform you of a possibility that, in my experience, most NTs don't consider - and the tell-tale sign is waffling on J/P. I'm sorry if the information wasn't helpful.

No I dont get to ride often. I was a city girl all my life. Recently moved to a slightly more rural area and went to a friend's ranch. He let us ride his horse, but this horse was rather picky about who could ride him. It was only my 2nd time ever riding one.

Finally got to watching the video. If INTJs are bots I want one of that production model.

Have you ever seen an INTJ get up in front of a TV and dance jokingly when he knows he cant dance. I would get a video but he would probably disown me as a son The pictures of an INTJ running back to the couch avoiding pictures of him being silly are pretty funny as well. Kinda blurred as they can run pretty fast in these instances.

That is such a cute anecdote. I perform silly little dances with my sis all the time. She brings the silly out of me.

I wasn't aware I was arguing with anybody about "typings"... I personally don't engage in the unsolicited typing of other people because I find it ridiculous... that's just my opinion... Personally I can't think of one good reason to tell someone else what I think their personality type should be when they clearly do not agree with me, especially if I have limited information about who they are as a person.

If you want to engage in unsolicited typing for fun then wouldn't it be reasonable to expect some people to disagree with you? That only seems logical to me.

That being said... I was simply encouraging a fellow INTJ not to take unsolicited typing from random people on a forum very seriously considering those typings are based on subjective conclusions taken from limited information. That's hardly the equivalent of engaging in an argument.

There is no way I'm extroverted. I need LOTS of alone time. I can appear very extroverted in social situations, but ultimately people exhaust me.

I'm borderline P, but was previously a stronger J for the majority of my life. I've probably just learned to balance the J/P in the recent years.

There's no such thing as borderline J or P, they only tell the orientation of the functions.
