Know that this thread is bound to fail because of the entp's external focus (outwardly oriented data retrieval and focus), short attention span and sort of expect other people to do all the work anyway.

-When you think that sad is hilarious
-For you staying on topic is an abstract concept
-You die a little bit inside when people out of your friend bubble ask you to repeat yourself

    - Abstract concepts are the way to stay on topic.
    - Socializing is stressful; yet you need the interaction.
    - You are the one who knows a solution (read: thousand) when there is an unexpected problem; yet if you expect some problems you can't think about a single solution and you get totally stressed out. (If it's the other way around, you're an ENTJ)
    - "Logic gets you from A to B, imagination gets you everywhere" means to you "A and B are everywhere"
    - You see the Star Trek movie for the first time and are disappointed the great Spock needs to learn to "value friendship" and, again, nobody else needs to learn to "value logic".

You rarely if ever explain something in the same way twice

Continue being thoroughly convinced you are correct even when someone proves you wrong.

You aim for INTP coolness and ENFP enthousiasm at the same time, failing at both
Conquering the world is only worthwile if you can keep two thirds of your attention to more interesting things while the other civilizations are playing. Also known as: you lost the game of civ IV to the ESTJ but you wrote a book in the meantime.

    So true!
It's hard to believe you've been wrong because you've thought it out before and you just "know" you're right...

When you know you are superior to the rest of humanity, but fail like shit in school.

    doesn't sound too smart.

but, to be fair, a lot of the posts in this thread don't.
