While I can appreciate the sentiment, competition does do it's part in driving discovery.

Plus, had he not turned it down, I likely never would have known who he is.

I've got a headache, so let me make this short.

I know Hitler wasn't an INTJ.

projects for the betterment of humanity.
Now figure out yourself why I posted a photo of Hitler.

^^^ Because you share a liberal/libertarian prejudice against "collectivism" (or whatever they call that particular bogeyman these days)...?

Just a guess, hopefully I am wrong.

If you'd like to emphasize that "projects for the betterment of humanity" are highly subjective, let me assure you that Hitler never strived to achieve the "betterment of humanity".

Here are some commentaries on the proof. Really interesting stuff. What strikes me at first is the realization that our brains do some incredibly complex mathematics almost constantly, without any conscious understanding of how it works. The second thing is I wonder how this cognitive awareness translates across generations: does the brain learn these deep, complex forms of math simply through stimulus and response, or is there actual mathematic knowledge locked within the genetic code?

Are you saying that he didn't think he was striving toward this end, or are you saying that he was simply rationalizing a personal revenge fantasy?

ok I think the original Hitler pic was a reference to the fact I said "betterment" of humanity instead of "benefit". If so, actually, I guess it was quite funny.

Though an actual professional eugenicist would have been better.

Btw I don't think anyone could really claim that National Socialism claimed to be for the benefit of "all humanity" as it clearly stated that some parts of humanity should enslave others...
