Most difficult question ever. There are too many interesting characters...

If you're interested in NF input, mine is Sherlock Holmes, especially a) in the original stories, b) as depicted by the great Jeremy Brett on TV, and c) in Laurie King's books, starting with The Beekeeper's Apprentice.

    Tough question...

I'm torn between for Mckay (Stargate Atlantis) and Gabriel Grey aka Sylar from Heroes.

In terms of all round performance, I'd go Mckay. But Gabriel has his moments of uberness as well, especially in the last season.

I have a special fondness for any drunk antihero that is not totally dumb (I.e. not Homer Simpson!). They often have a complexity virtuous guys often lack.

But there are far too many of them...

Falcarius' favourite fictional character is Danger Mouse, he relates to the ''White Wonder'' and his eccentricities.

To many to name but the characters that seem to really catch my attention are ones such as Marvel's In-betweener and Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen.

How can anybody choose only one?!

I pick Robert Downey Jr's portrayal of Tony Stark (Iron Man).
