Not only do I find the idea of true genesis to be conceptually shaky, I find it almost impossible to simulate.

In other words, I don't generate new ideas very well or very often, instead I refine the ideas of other or those given by experience.

Does anyone else have this problem?

no I totally don't have that problem, I may have 200 ideas on the way to work (esp if I've traveled by bus)....

ENTJ's I find are very good shapers of ideas, they are good at challenging the wooly bits and tightening up the remit, they can also spot flaws and this helps to strenthen the good ones and let the dross fall. I don't think the ENTJs around me see themselves as creative, but that is more about their internal dialogues not reality because they can be pretty creative.
