The worst part about the title of this thread is that I'm going to click on it again a week from now hoping to see something shiny inside. 
Anyway I think Ne is often confused for ADD or ADHD. I don't see why I should have to pay attention to stuff that is boring. Whatever someone has to offer better be able to compete with the stuff going on in my head.
I remember when I was in high school and I was in the hall one day with my INTP friend. A teacher came up to us and said a few things and left. Then we had a brief conversation that went like this:
Me: "What did she just say?"
Him: "I thought you were paying attention."
