I would counter the question. What makes him an NT?
I just don't see that connection at all.
He's shallow, opportunistic, sleazy... No refined taste.
He does seem street-smart but not intelligent.
He used to be a petty criminal... No education.
Low moral standards... Don't get me wrong.
ENTJs can be evil. But not petty, stupid criminals.
Few, if any, walk that muddy road.
He's just not an ENTJ by any standards.

"But he's just a product of his environment!"
No ENTJ would believe that or accept such nonsense.
We create or bend our environment, or replace it.
How many of you ENTJs have practically raised yourselves
with common sense and a sense of where and what you want to become?
I know I have, and most of the ones I know have.
When I think about it, this is what most strong individuals must do,
    in order to truly become their own man or woman;
which is what pretty much defines the ENTJ.
The need and struggle to rule, to conquer, to learn and to grow.
At least the healthy ones who can truly claim to be ENTJ.
You can't exactly call that guy 'healthy', by any standards.

Also, most real ENTJs are good with words and writing.
What he does with words is not only ugly, it is atrocious.
If he had any EJ in him, he would truly detest his works.

Henry Rollins is clearly an Artisan. ESTP or ISTP.

This excerpt from From the Earth to the Moon includes an exchange between two ENTJs, as only the type would have it. The scene in question begins at 1:15 and sparks fly at 2:50.

it seems that james rebhorn often plays EXTJ characters (refer to HTB's video)

"Rebhorn is known for portraying WASPy stereotypes, lawyers, politicians, doctors, and military men, and often plays the bad guy. He has delivered equally notable performances in a variety of other roles, including that of a brutal serial killer on NBC's Law & Order (he would later return to the show as defense attorney Charles Garnett) and a shipping magnate in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999). One of his best known performances came in the popular 1996 film, Independence Day, where he played Secretary of Defense Albert Nimziki. He acted against Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman (1992), and was also in the final scene of My Cousin Vinny (1992) with Marisa Tomei; thus, he acted in scenes with the 1993 Oscar winners for both best actor and best supporting actress. He also appeared again with Al Pacino in Carlito's Way (1993) the following year."

Yeah, I've got absolutely no problem seeing Henry Rollins as an ENTJ. That entire rant could have sprung from my head as well. And hey, even if he is another type, I still love him.

Same with 50 Cent - I'm not making any claims to *knowing* but he could easily be ENTJ as I see it. Are the NTs who see it as impossible for him to be NT possibly being influenced by their own dislike of his music/persona? That dude, as someone else mentioned, has crafted an extremely lucrative persona, and that seems ENTJ ish to me, it seems sort of conscious/planned with him.
