    Default Good things about INTPs

Ok, time to praise INTPs (especially since the rant thread is so long)

INTPs have the uncanny ability of being able to teach me something almost every time we talk even unintentionally. I will say without question that some of the most "meaningful" conversations I've had have been with this type.
"At points of clarity, I realize that my life on earth is meaningless, and that I am merely a pawn in a bigger game. A game I cannot possibly understand or have control of. Thankfully, before depression sets in, I drift back into my cloudy, bewildered daily routine." **Joel Patrick Warneke**

But the INTPs already dismissed the entire thing as irrelevant and moved on.

(Still, it's informative to hear what other sorts of people perceive about INTPs.)

To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

    Good things about INTPs:
    Modesty
    Indifference to praise

I find this thread more demeaning than the 'rant on INTPs'.

Since it seems to be a social nicety rather than being conducive to any particular end? I'm not surprised you think that.

But I'm going to add a polite comment anyway (I can only think of two, ATM):

    1. Can constructively criticize society when it's necessary.

    2. Don't expect inexhaustible empathy or politeness, easy to talk to when you feel emotionally drained.

    Wow, you know your INTPs!

In my opinion, there is a particular end,
and that would be: to encourage one another.
It's like "random acts of kindness"... with words.
