Default Defying the Odds: ENTP + ENTP Coupling

I can envision the problems between two young ENTPs, but what about two ENTPs with abundant Fe?

Hasn't anyone succeeded at making it work? There must be a way!

You just like drama. Admit it!

I can barely stand myself. Why be with someone just like me? No thanks!

I dated an ENFP once. O-M-G. Too similar. Too boring and too much drama all at once. Two people with too many opinions. Two insufferable dilettantes. Every time I saw her working a crowd, while I could admire it and appreciate her skill, I was never particularly impressed. It was like this with everything we did. No depth. Interestingly, I feel more deep when I am with deep people, but with other people who have a similar broad intelligence I feel like we're both frauds.

I've dated an ENFP and it was not fun for me. I've dated 2 ENTPs, one seriously and one casually. The longer term one was ok, fun actually, but we were so young and both had put our careers first and we parted. I'm still friends with him now but I could never imagine dating him. We are just much too similar. I'm with BC on that one. And the casual one... my goodness, I was sickened watching him work the room. Syn has a point.

I guess anything is possible, but I've found my best relationships to be with ESTPs, who are similar but not. The Ti is a big sell.

Go hang out with an INFJ for awhile. enjoy the Ni effect. It is pleasently centering. I feel it with INTJs as well and enjoy thier company but they seem to drive entps bonkers.

    My entps IRL significant others:

    1. ISTJ-working through issues
    2. ISFJ-entp likely cheats on her
    3. ISFP-the happiest one of all
    4. ESTP-the estp is cheating on him
    5. maybe an enfp-dont know for sure
6.some sort of NT-the entp will sleep with anyone
    7. single looking for companion-likes shiny, sweet girls

If you watched Pitchmen you saw two ENTP business partners. They seemed to get along most of the time but they were often at each others throats too. Fe was apparent. They often tried to help people out with by promoting their products just because they wanted to help those people--even if the product looked terrible. Billy Mays also volunteered to promoted some Healthcare plan because it was an issue near and dear to his heart.

Are you saying ENTPs are just like you? If so, what exactly do you mean by that?

I don't understand how people here are so comfortable justifying so much, in terms of relationships, using type theory. It boggles my mind. Maybe I'm the wrong, but it reeks of self-confirmation. It's a case of MBTI doing more harm than good I think...it skews people's perceptions.

Funny that the happiest one is with an ISFP. I think that relationship would drive me crazy. Which one is the female?

As far as ESTPs cheating, it comes with the territory...
