    Perhaps... but that's so much better than the INTP passive aggressive tendencies. Nothing expresses emotions like a flying chair!

    I've launched a few chairs in my time... A jounior high explosion...

    I must note that these were not puny little folding metal chairs.

    These were large solid 1" thick oak chairs that probably were half her weight or more.

    Do not mock the chair.

    I just don't get the whole chair throwing thing. It seems so expressive... I just don't expect normal sane people to do it.

    Hmm, although...

    But seriously, I don't get it. Maybe too direct for me *shrug* I'm more likely to spend a month destroying their lives rather than throw a chair at someone.

    I've never understand anger that would cause you to throw chairs or smash things. When I get really angry I stop myself from damaging things since I know that I a) have to replace it, b) clean it up. Am I the only one with such practical considerations in the heat of the moment?

    Why not do both?

    Well, from my view, the chair is public and not scary (in the sense that it is only the immediate). The outcomes are;

    Throw chair, not destroy life: Everyone knows and hears about it, loose cannon.

    Not throw chair, destroy life: No one knows if you did it, for sure, but those that suspect become fearful about doing anything to you.

    Not throw chair, not destroy life: No deterrent to the behaviour you don't like

    Throw chair, destroy life: Everyone knows that you did both and you come out as a vindictive psychopath.

    To me, the optimal outcome, if you are going to do anything, is to stay calm and decide how to deal with it over the coming weeks.
