    Default ENTP Flavored Quotations

    Avatar7 made me think of one of my favorite quotations from Moby Dick:

    "There is a wisdom that is woe; but there is a woe that is madness. And there is a Catskill eagle in some souls that can alike dive down into the blackest gorges, and soar out of them again and become invisible in the sunny spaces. And even if he for ever flies within the gorge, that gorge is in the mountains; so that even in his lowest swoop the mountain eagle is still higher than other birds upon the plain, even though they soar."

    Do you have any quintessential ENTP quotations?
    "Create like a god, command like a king, work like a slave."

    ^ Hah, my first thought was also to go for Oscar Wilde.

    A few from Mark Twain, witty bugger that he was, and very likely an ENTP (see: Tom Sawyer's adventures)

    * When you cannot get a compliment any other way, pay yourself one.

    * Get the facts first. You can distort them later.

    * Last week I stated that this woman was the ugliest woman I had ever seen. I have since been visited by her sister and now wish to withdraw that statement.

    * Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

    * Let us be thankful for fools. But for them the rest of us could not succeed.

    * Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.

    * Work is a necessary evil to be avoided.

    * Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

    Sounds too light-hearted to be ENTP.

    Lighthearted spectrum:

    ENFP -> ENTP -> ENTJ -> INTJ -> INTP

    If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

    I think it's baked just right. Hence, ENTP.
