    this sounds like it could be triggered from some love-aftermath. while there may be some diamonds in the rough, comparing yourself with the people here is not a good idea. if you're still reading this, at least think it through.

    actually, i'll offer you this: if you want i can counsel you to see if there is a problem and help you out. god knows, i have thoughts that even people in this place wouldn't understand. let me know if you want the help, otherwise enjoy your detachment.

    rather than creative independence.

    And if creativity were a person, he--or she-- would asoon die,

    Mine didn't. She was an artist.

    Yeah, not sure what's going on here, I always thought you totally fit. I can't imagine any ENFP ever feels like they really "fit" anyway. We are a little off.

    I LOVED your sea of Ne analogy and completely relate. I don't know any other way of being. I am constantly drowning in my Ne sea. Maybe it is an ENXP thing - I feel like my Fi and Te functions are both a little broken. The Ne signals are loud and clear, everything else seems muffled.

    I'd just like to point out that we all have the ability to use any type of cognitive function, whether it be Ne, Ni, Fi, Fe, Se, Si, etc. Most of us tend to "prefer" certain cognitive functions.

    Can an INTP not emphasize (Fe) with someone at a base, emotional level? Of course they can. They tend not to though. It's not that big of a deal; however, I will somewhat agree with the OP and say that I think there's almost too much emphasis on strict typing and stereotypes.
    Ti = 19 [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
    Te = 16[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
    Ne = 16[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
    Fi = 15 [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
    Si = 12 [][][][][][][][][][][][]
    Ni = 12 [][][][][][][][][][][][]
    Se = 11[][][][][][][][][][][]
    Fe = 0

    I can't believe you're leaving me after all we've been through.

    (as an aside, I was ready to throw in the towel myself yesterday for so many reasons. I'm just taking it day by day from this point. If you need to leave, I accept and respect that, but I hope you'll keep in touch because you will be missed.)

    I need bullet points to parse your post. But, good luck. I wish you well.
