After some thought, I choose INTJ. They would give me clear directions and goals while not being very in-your-face the whole time. Pretty much low extroversion/lower energy and high structure are pluses for me in the workplace.

I guess ENTJ because they plunge right into things and make sure that they are done and running effeciently...and they have the competency to not put up with workers that slack off and wait until the last minute and leave every- one else hanging and are outspoken enough to say so...and they don't put up with people that bring their personal lives and dramas to work and dump them on everyone else being too needy (Just so they aren't a pompous jerk that runs everyone ragged and has their head too far up their butt to not cut everyone off that says maybe they don't have the skills for the task and refu-ses to listen to people and carelessly lets them get stressed out then has the nerve to turn around and harp on them for getting distracted...I've worked for bosses before that were too lazy to find enough for people to do to keep them occupied and gave all the better things to people that goofed off then behaved when they thought someone might be looking because the bosses saw these people as easier to deal with so they could get their stuff done on their own time. sometimes I talk a lot and get a lot going on and don't always have time for things but I know there might be a time where I need help and won't get it if I use business as an excuse to shush people.

But I prefer ENFJ bosses sometimes too...they are pretty pleasant to work for and keep the atmosphere in a lighter mood.

I tend to get along best with ENTJs in every area of life. The only time I would opt for an INTJ rather than an ENTJ boss is if my job doesn't require much collaboration with anyone else and I'm expected to be the specialist or mostly autonomous (in such a case, I'd rather have a boss who didn't bother me with anything until something goes wrong).

NTP bosses are crap. They dick around, lose shit, forget things, give you contradictory instructions, etc. It's especially infuriating that they tend to notice cosmetic and unimportant things over actually getting results and, as soon as some new faddish study comes out with some novel but ineffective trend in the field, the NTP is the first to try to get me to abandon my tested methods for some new nonsense that will be out of vogue in two weeks, anyway. Fortunately, NTP bosses tend to back down if I become recalcitrant.

[EDIT]: Their amenability to direct confrontation makes an NTP boss preferable to an STJ boss any day of the week. STJ bosses are the worst, and I can usually only deal with them through passive aggression and malicious compliance. I've never had to bring an NTP boss down, but I'm happy to say that I've been the smirking figure in the shadows behind some spectacular ESTJ screw-ups.

So this is a worker's poll.

I.e. "What NT boss would you rather work for", rather than "What NT boss would you rather run your project/business".

I'd think so. Most of us would have said, "Me!" if asked the latter question.

INTJ because they seem to be and act more professional
and thats what work is
they also seem to be a lot more in control and are more concise about what they want from you although it can be socially awkward at times

entj would be trying to just control people instead of focusing on the real work at hand

intp would be a good co-worker but not very good boss, i think

my boss is an entp :|
entp for a boss is like having a perv slime ball arrogant smart-ass around who doesnt care and just goofs around and then when they attempt to give snappy/serious orders, they fail miserably and then you just start yelling at each other and calling each other stupid then it ends with him saying:
"so wanna go out?"
-"ew no"
"syke! im married, remember. why are you always trying to hit on me, man?"
-"what the fuck are you on?"
"haha naw, im just messin with ya.
.......but seriously, how about sunday?"
- "no."
"okay, fine. well i need you to do this and this so whenever you can, alright?"
-"ok"
"k i'll do you later. i mean see."
-"what?"
"oh nothing. ZOOOOOOOM. right over your head. you dont even know what i was talking about. youre still 19. you dont know anything about that grown up stuff. i'll catch ya later" :smooch: :cheese:
-"right....bye"

I'm lazy and unproductive If I'm not "bulldozed" the right way. I like tough love and strict people because once they're done kicking you to death the results are well worth it.

I picked ENTJ because based on the description they'd drill me often and make sure I get my work done.
I'm a bit of a masochist when it comes to work.:cheese:

no idiots - leaves out INTPs
not bossy people - leaves out ENTJ
i could accept either INTJ or ENTP, though i'd probably favor an ENTP boss. but then again i don't think an ENTP would hit on me, whether male or female THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY LOOKS OK

I'd probably hit on you, no matter what you look like.

that's sweet.

in that case i would pull through with it... if only to finally understand why it is a bad idea to sleep with your boss.

ENTJ.

It's pretty nice going into self-robot mode and think about pretty things while you work. They point and say go there. Easy! Then again, that probably only works for jobs where you're doing physical labor. It might suck if you're an accountant or something...Then I'd pick INTP, maybe, since they'd say something and then just leave me the fuck alone.

In vault 101? I would disagree, INTPs procrastinate way too heavily. If you're surviving on an old water purifier, you need to get shit done to stay alive, which requires regular maintenance.

Socially, maybe an INTP, but realistically, probably an INTJ or ENTJ. In that case, maybe INTJ so they could bugger off by themselves to fix problems and censor them before an ENTJ runs their mouth and scares/angers the hell outta everyone.
