That which uplifts me: natural beauty that is true and/or surprising, a really moving book or movie (rare), someone giving me an unanticipated compliment that really warms me... and that feeling I get when it is windy and cool with leaves blowing down the street, giddiness at the perfect feeling of being light as a feather inside.

Same here. Freedom of thought, flexibility in thinking, open-mindedness are sacred to me.

And life, concerning especially those groups that are in a lesser position in our societies: women, children, animals, the elderly, the poor... I feel the need to protect them and think that equality should be the goal for all living beings.

    not really.
Though I do enjoy a good joke

and that 'sacred' thing is kind of a very blurry term, smells of cultural relativism with a pinch of self delusional bullshit on the top.

Yes, lots of things. Does anyone really think NTs don't give a serious crap about anything?

I hold many things sacred. Fleshing them into logical structure doesn't necessary have to meet the 'requirements' that I hold other entities to. To do so would be to reduce my sense of individuality I try to associate with important variables in my world. The misguided sense of control that this creates alleviates my internal dialog that would otherwise incapacitate my reason with unfounded anxiety and fear. All people do this. Survival is important...

Personalizing one's world is a hallmark feature of being human, while recognizing the inherent vulnerabilities this realization creates, our individual thumbprints.
