    Entropie -

I've stood in the midst of crowds, surrounded by strangers and friends, felt the energy of the collective mass and still couldn't shake a sense of isolation. I had to believe in something greater than myself to keep going... friendship, love, the possibilities of the moment, a God who cared if I lived or died, the goodness of humanity.

    Whatever it takes.

Loneliness is the Whale and we are each of us, Jonah. But if we tickle his palate just so, he spits us out again. Rinse, repeat.

Sunshine, small children, danceable music, and sloppy dog kisses usually do the trick in my darkest hour. Anything that reminds me of the invisible web of life that connects us.

I remember once, when I was very sick, I hadn't been able to move around much or leave the house, but I went out with my mom on an errand. I was physically exhausted and dismal. I was sitting in the car in silence, and across the street were little kids playing soccer. For some reason, it did everything to help my state of mind, to see little people running around and having a good time and being alive in the present moment.

Like life still existed, even if it was hanging like rags on me.

Maybe the answer isnt outside of you but within. I find I get very lonely sometimes as I always look external to what is going on around me for Ne infused energetic bliss. I seek other's happiness and affirmation (Fi) and pour myself external. However sometimes it all comes up empty and then I feel rejected and lost.

What I have come to realize is that I have to look inside for a source of strength and to be resiliant so that the sways and flows of life external do not totally unseat me. I have to step away from what is going on around me and look internally. Zarc says this means you strengthen your second function which is Fi for me. For you guys this would be Ti I guess.

I have been trying to do this lately and I kinda get what she was saying. It actually does work and gives me strength to feel less alone.
