[NT] Do NTs feel misunderstood?

There's too many kind of NTs to give you a clear answer.

But I don't feel especially misunderstood... or rather... only by people with a Dom-Fe (ENFJs for instance), because they are invasive about how things must be, according to them.
I have the same trouble with deeply religious people, eager to make some proselytism around them.

So the only one who really doesn't understand me is the one supposed to be a natural empath. What a paradox, isn't it?

Nope, I'm usually too straightforward to be misunderstood. Failing that, I also try to communicate with people in a way that they can understand me.. that used to be a conscious process, but it's more and more subconscious.

Sometimes, Feelers might think that I'm slightly angry when I'm direct. But that's cleared up pretty quickly, especially if they already know me.

When I feel the least understood is when I get scatterbrained if I get excited or talk too fast, getting lost in my own train of thought. That's when I get looks of confusion. I know that's my cue to slow down so that I can help others understand me.

Well, I get described frequently as "just a bit off" by people, which could be either refering to my personality type or just me in general

This doesn't particularly bother me though, since I'm generally likable enough to forgive for the times when I say/do something incredibly stupid or ponder something that nobody cares about for a good while.

I think that EVERYONE feels misunderstood frequently enough, no matter what their type is, so it wouldn't be unique to just NTs
