I remember when I took standardized tests in middle school it said I was in the 95th percentile of the state consistantly. Cant really remember my highschool ones but I always have really high scores in English and Sceince and History ect. but really shitty math scores. Like special ED math scores. Numbers are not my freinds....
Is there anyplace else I can take the ASVAB other than militart.com I really dont feel like giving military recruiters my street adress.
ASVAB = Intelligence test given by US military. in order to enter service you need an ASVAB scroe of 30, 50 is average It's on a curve. Most people will get 50, but that means they are smarter than 50 percent of test takers, 85 (ME) means smarter than 85 percent.
I know someone that got a 16, i got a 71, when I was a junior in highschool. I got like 95 and up percentile scores, but the horrible score in JUST math brought me down so much.
"You would lose your money," Sherlock Holmes remarked calmly. "As for the article I wrote it myself."
"Yes, I have a turn both for observation and for deduction. The theories which I have expressed there, and which appear to you to be so chimerical are really extremely practical -- so practical that I depend upon them for my bread and cheese."
Autism is usually just a lack of capability in certain cognitive areas (to over-simplify it). Only in a small minority of cases do autistics show any advantage over the average person.
130+ will put you in the top 2%, by definition, if it's a SD 15 test (the usual one). 145 puts you in the top 0.13%. Hopefully that puts the claims in this thread into perspective.
Only one person is officially considered to have an IQ over 200. A few have officially hit 190+. Three, I think.
Thanks muchly Erm! I couldn't find an accurate listing, and whot info I did get was with my computer crashing several times so it was hard to get something exacting >.<
That's exactly whot I was looking for though ^^
As for the autistic, almost every one I've seen referance to is very good at thinking analytically, and logically, but they have issues with things that are abstract like emotions and societies' preferances. One would think the brain is just specialized for dealing with a very specific type of problem solving.
I could be wrong of course, but most everything I've read on the matter suggests such to be the case. Most claim 'autistics are often very smart', but I don't think that's so much the case as just being very capable in reasoning very specific criteria very well. They may be 'smart' in that one situation, but lacking greatly elsewhere.
It doesn't matter if they're right. If they can't proove they're right, then they're wrong. No matter how right they may be.
My IQ is 557 according to the Neuschwastein Test, and 10e^5 according to the Bordeaux-Tolouse Neo-PIQPQ Inventory.

I have not taken the ASVAB, but I score between 85 and 155 on the online IQ tests and from 91 and 134 on the subtests of the real thing (Welscher Adult Scale) with a full scale of 118
If this thread is supposed to tell something about ASVAB scores, IQ, and NTs, I'll make the following claims about IQ now: it is most likely that the majority NTs score below 130, there are some that score below 100, and it is possible for them to score below 70, and the ability to move little blocks around, memorize digit spans, find a similarity between toast and paper, etc... has very little to do with type
