Oh wow. Cool and interesting. I got

Realistic: 16 *highest
Investigative: 13
Artistic: 16 *highest
Social: 12
Enterprising: 8
Conventional: 6 *lowest

My Holland Codes are as follows:
RIA AIR

Apparently there aren't any careers for RIA listed. I am actually surprised that I scored higher on Investigative than Social, but it's only one point. I can see that those top four would be my highest, though, and that enterprising and conventional are my lowest.

Actually, I wanted to check off almost ALL the boxes. :D

No test results to post, but I'm almost positive that I'm SIA.

Social is quite clearly my strongest on all tests and investigative is a clear second. The third changes between tests, but Artistic seems to fit best. Other option was Realistic.

I got ASI, but I'm not sure why. AES fits me better (and it what I happen to be doing right now anyway.)

I took a version of this a couple of years ago in a career counseling course that was a requirement for my counseling M.A.

I scored A-S-I, with only a point or two difference between the A and the S - which according to my professor was statistically insignificant.

Career-wise, it was definitely accurate for me. I've spent most of my adult life as a writer/graphic designer (gravitating towards the creative stuff whenever possible), but a few years ago started working on the M.A. to become a therapist.

The Holland test is meant to be an interest identifier, not a capability identifier. Meaning when you take the test, you ought to be focusing only on what you would like to do if you could, despite how terrible you think you are at it and/or how pointless it would be to try (again.)

Unfortunately people treat it as a mix of capability and interest identification: "well I'm bad at this and don't want to even bother (even though deep down it intrigues me)" never giving the activity a real thought, and so their results are often incomplete and reflect their more instinctive assumptions. What you could do is take the test for pure interest, then try taking the test for pure capability. You'll find that it's a lot easier just to chose what you're interested in.

I never would have thought to call myself enterprising, but now that I think about it, it fits my ideals really well. thanks to whoever started this thread - I'm a senior in high school, so this was extremely helpful.

We've done this at school.
I got AIS

Job proposals: Psychologist, philosopher, linguist, writer, Musician, etc.

I think this fits the profile of an INFP 5w4 isn't it?
