I don't think she's ESTJ, but I'm not certain enough to say she's ENFJ either. She has an interaction style like one of the "In-Charge" types, but she has too much flair to be an ESTJ. That leaves ESTP, ENTJ and ENFJ. I'm not sure which one though. ESTJ's are squaresville, you dig?

Oh yes, Karin immediately pinged all my ENFJ detectors. Very warm, alert and expressive, yet kind of out there and compassionately adaptable-to a point. That scene in the snow where Lars was chopping wood -

    Dagmar was just too beautiful.

Actually, I kind of added 'alert' after reviewing this post, but alertness coupled with adaptability is one of the things I associate with strong Fe.

    Observe! *fancy hand gestures*

    Reese Witherspoon! Oprah! John Wayne!

Rachel Green, from "Friends". Te primary. A dunce about her feelings. "Why Why Why...?" She smacks of my ENTJ friend only as an S. Rachel's not at all a boring or uninteresting person.

My mom is an ESTJ and she was a hellraiser. Impeccable sense of fashion too. I remember wanting to grow up quick just so I could wear her genuine crocodile spike-heeled pumps from the 60s.

I know two other ESTJs and both of them were not only not squareZ, they were livin' la vida loca. Very archetypal ESTJs too. I think there's a very serious misconception that ESTJs can't be fun, inspiring or creative in their own way.

SFPs don't have the corner on funny and creative.

Hmm. Perhaps this is more subjective than I thought.

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

Debbie Reynolds is an ESTJ. She's exactly like my mother (including the bad stuff). Debbie was a dancing singing dynamo. So was my mom. Both loved the theater, performing for crowds, being a ham. I've seen plenty of ESTJs with flair. No, it's not all of them, but more than people expect.

Told ya this would end in tears, Colmena! TEARS, I say!! lol

I wouldn't type any of these three as ESTJ.

Rachel Green, from "Friends". Te primary. A dunce about her feelings. "Why Why Why...?" She smacks of my ENTJ friend only as an S. Rachel's not at all a boring or uninteresting person.
I don't watch Friends much (so I can't really comment on the character), but I wouldn't describe ESTJ as boring. Predictable is probably a better word. ESTJ's are extraverts, so they can be lively just like any extraverted type. It's just that they judge everything by a common external standard. It's that predictableness that makes them reliable. Also squaresville.

A late entry but I watched this just recently and it's almost definitely a negative feedback ENFJ as the title character.

Carrie always seemed more INFP to me (much more in her head and preferring to leave things open).

Rachel Greene from friends always struck me as ESTP for some reason. Oprah ISFJ.

I don't know why (perhaps because an ENFJ teacher of mine in high school had similar mannerisms), but when I think ENFJ, I always think Jim Carrey in The Grinch (not saying ENFJ is grinch-like, but for the extremely animated persona and mannerisms).
