When the stars come out at night
city lights be damned!
None can see but just a few,
And who can notice them?
But out in the far, far country land
The stars just come alive
Look there! There are Stars!
What a wonderful surprise!
Such glorious diamond studded
Great Beauty that we miss,
When the starts come out at night
And city lights dim that bliss!
Edit: My Harmless Emoticon
My harmless emoticon
is just cute as a bugs ear, you see
it only elicits childhood glee
for it's a sweet whistling swan.
My whistling swan emoticon
Has twofold meanings as well.
It's whistles that you're a peachy bell,
Or a handsome, sexy Daun Juan.
When the stars come out at night,
I make sure to go in.
I do not like them watching me --
not them, nor Cousin Jim.
Especially when I take a bath,
I pull the shades down tight.
Those peeping stars and drunks from bars
can give me quite a fright.
Still when the stars slide down to sleep,
I cannot help but curse.
While stalking stars are bad enough,
the Sun's yet even worse!

"Hey Capa -- We're only stardust." ~ "Sunshine"
“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft
