Default Do Women Try and Fatten Up Boyfriends?

I was just reflecting...my last girlfriend fed me so much that I gained like 30 lbs.
She said once in front of others that she was 'fattening me up'.

What might be the reason for this?

I had about 10% body fat before I gained it and I was feeling great!

Now (we broke up) I'm about 10 lbs. from where I was two years ago.

What would possess a girl to want a heavy boyfriend?

haha no i can't imagine that's actually true but i could see some people showing affection by cooking for you and also extending the sweetness of not caring if you put on some weight as long as your happy.

According to my biology teacher (true story), women want their husbands to get fatter in order to make him less appealing to other women. This way, the risk of him leaving their offspring behind in order to have sex with other females is minimized.
I should mention that as you get fatter you get less attractive to your own woman too. Evolution designed us to look for fit people to copulate with. Which means the cheating/breaking up chances are increased.

Hmm, I can see all these being true..just depends on a woman's outlook.

... well, there's just more to stuff and cook when the autumn Reaping comes 'round. *burp*

There is an expression..."The way to a man's heart is through the stomach."

Thus, it may be that food input is associated with increasing the bond. She may just want your heart.

He's just making it up using a typical buzzed-up evolutionary-biology-game-theory-mixup argument.
