I'm sorry, but i fucking love being an INFP. It suits me to a tee and i couldn't imagine being any other type, i've never thought "OH WOE IS ME WHY CANT I BE SOMETHING ELSE?!!!!", sometimes i've wished i was a little less impulsive and perhaps a bit more ordered in my thinking and a little less of a flake, BUT, as far as im concerned the fit is a comfortable one and i wouldn't change it for the world.

I really don't understand the fucking emo self hate INFP's have against themselves. Don't like something about yourself? CHANGE IT. It's not that hard to think outside of four letters and apply a little out of the box thinking ;D

Consequentially, I am not one of the good people.
I am one of the terrible things.

I don't think any one said they hate being one yet. Sorry, Nijntjie, I didn't think this was a self pity thread, or it wasn't my intention. It was more of a reaction to the self pity I had read else where. An anti-self pity thread and encouragment thread, if you will. Most of us regular INFP posters are well past the emo teenage stuff. I was just kinda shocked at how prevelant it was on the net, 'tis all.

Maybe it's because INFPs don't come off as all that warm/genuine/fun in person? Like, "I love you I love I love I love you... I'M IN MY EMO CORNER GO AWAY!!! RAWR!!!" At least, that's what I got out of interactions...
There's the problem. I suck at first impressions. I even suck at second impressions. I'm all jittery and anxious, so I make bad jokes, talk in staccato and stupid things generally come flying out of my mouth. INFPs need more time to calm down (or spark into life, as it is with some) and behave like their normal self. Unfortunately many people are so bewildered by our initial behaviour that they give up on us. Not that I blame them personally, with all the weirdness I exude

Ohh, nononononononoononononononononononononooooooo, i wasn't saying anyone here was, it's more of a reaction to the self hate that i've seen. A generalised explosion to the stuff if you will. I really dont understand why being an INFP is such a bad thing in some people's eyes and was expressing that =)

Some people dislike anyone who behaves differently than they themselves do. And spew disdain upon anyone different.

I generally ignore them. They aren't worth the time and energy it takes to deal with them.

I'll go ahead and change my type... do you have my address? You can send the flowers to my home or my office. Thanks!
