Any particular reason this test is favored over others? Say the jungian functions test at similarminds, for instance? I get Ni dom Fe aux (.04 points above Te) on that one... this tests questions were often vague or strangely worded.

Nice thread idea. Studying the results distributed by type should be interesting. I've posted mine numerous times, but it's always fun to see if they change, and to contribute to statistical study.

Hm, said INTP this time. Interesting indeed. Even though typology is mostly BS.

No matter how many times I take the tests, the top three are pretty consistent. And that feels intuitively right, and seems consistent with my experience.

(But I can't change my type back to INTP for political reasons; so if I am it'll have to be my little secret. )

Huh, interesting. I must say though, I struggled with the way these questions were worded. Even before I finished answering them all, I was unsure if I understood them in the way they were intended? Regardless, these are my results (which they say equal INFP):

These results are from 2007. I should take another one because I was clinically depressed when I took these before.

Edit: I'll have to say that I didn't care for the way some of the T questions were presented. One asked if you liked using an external model of evaluation like "points". While I think using external measures to evaluate are incredibly important, points are fragmented and often arbitrary. They are not particularly meaningful. Whatever T-ness I have is invested in understanding the limits of human cognition, understanding the scientific method, etc. It is a holistic approach to achieving greater objectivity and not a fragmented, reductive approach like points. As a teacher I hate grading because it is quite difficult to implement a truly objective method of evaluation.

    Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFJ

    Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

    Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Building trust through giving relationships. Empathically responding to others' needs and take on their needs and values as your own. Checking for respect and trust. Giving and receiving support to grow closer to people.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFJ, or INTJ

    The Four Temperaments
Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Theorist; secondly Catalyst; then Stabilizer; and lastly, Improviser.
