We should do this with more types, only by ranking functions > letters.

It told me I was an INTP. I think I did it wrong.

PNFI-"Totorro"- This type knows that the possibility for dreamy cuddles is endless. Just don't piss it off.

i do love endless dreamy cuddles and you shouldn't piss me off :)

nvm i just took a test and i guess i'm NPFI

NPFI-"the zen seminar disruptor"-A bit like an F version of their NPTI cousins, they want to mediate, but tend to rely on the single answer "we're all one, maaaan."

INFP - "The Martyr" This type tends to sacrifice themselves in an effort to promote their peculiar sense of truth.

I-Type "the nesters"

IFPN-"the hoarder"- A combination of strong sensory and feeling preference makes this type prone to collecting various objects to symbolize emotional states and periods in time.

and the next closest

IPFN-"bathtime"-The combination of a highly fluid identity and relative sensory preference in this type means they like an inordinate quantity of alone time.

Ta-dah, your personality type is INTP!
Introverted (I) 89% Extraverted (E) 11%
Intuitive (N) 82% Sensing (S) 18%
Thinking (T) 50% Feeling (F) 50%
Perceiving (P) 64% Judging (J) 36%

Lol, INTP, I wonder why it isn't just INxP

Anyways, that would put me as...
INPF-"jesus christ"-Like a more refined version of "the martyr," this type tends to turn their very identity into a metaphor for the truth they promote.

Although,
IPNF-"commonlaw"-Stasis and apathy tends to overwhelm this subtype. Often mistaken for an INTP.
or
NIPF-"master of puppets"- This type is very adept at creating concord or discord, without appearing involved. Its motives remain inscrutable. Of the INFPs who are mistaken for INTPs, this is the most dangerous.

fits how I act quite a bit better.

NPIF-"the zookeeper"-Eerily close to their NPIT counterparts, this type collects personalities into elaborate menageries of potential. Also called the "animal hoarder"

What does that even mean??? I definitely love personality metrics if that's what it's getting at.

(I really hope I'm not reviving a dead thread by replying to this, so I'm sorry if I am. I couldn't find anywhere in the FAQ where it said how long it could be before it isn't allowed to reply to a thread. )

Oh, I am most definitely a mixture of

IFNP-"cat hotel"-This isolation-prone subtype tends to idealize simplicity and a-rationality.

IPFN-"bathtime"-The combination of a highly fluid identity and relative sensory preference in this type means they like an inordinate quantity of alone time.

NIFP-"guilt trip"- Much like the NIPF, but with a strong sense of right and wrong, this subtype can always intuit the motives of others.

PNIF-"Bukowski"-I told you not to piss Totorro off.

Maybe that last one isn't exactly accurate ^^;. Perhaps a better definition for my temper is "I told you not to bother her, man. I TOLD YOU!" Also, I went to take the MBTI again and for the first time, I got INTP instead of INFP... I'm not sure whether this means I've become more of a donkey's butt or more of a rationalist. Probably both. Thanks a lot, internet.

FINP- "the moralist"- The SJ of the INFP universe, this subtype carries a very robust moral code and is not shy about expressing it.

Ta-dah, your personality type is ISFP!
Introverted (I) 82% Extraverted (E) 18%
Sensing (S) 50% Intuitive (N) 50%
Feeling (F) 85% Thinking (T) 15%
Perceiving (P) 77% Judging (J) 23%

I blame the 50/50 S/N on work and being around WAY too many Ni doms.

I like this idea. On MBTI tests mine come out in the order PFIN:

Elliott Smith (“lyricist”) - This poetic mood combines skill with words and patterns to express feelings in writing or song that would be more difficult or uncomfortable to say in a plainer fashion.

I'd say that's quite accurate. And he's my favorite musician :)

Here's another link to it:

These are my results:

FINP - "moralist" (“counselor”) - The SJ of the INFP universe, an INFP in this mood carries a very robust moral code and is not shy about expressing it.

FNIP - Samwise Gamgee (Snuggie) - An INFP in this mood is always trying to find simple solutions to the emotional turmoil in people's lives. Once they find such solutions, they try to apply them wherever possible.

[Ended up with a tie between I and N.]

PIFN- "The angry aesthete"- Tying their identity to art, this type is angry about the very existence of art of low quality. Unfortunately, they're usually right.

My P & N were tied, though I do somewhat relate to both descriptions, hmm.

IPNF - "monk" - Stasis and detachment tend to mark this mood. Often mistaken for an INTP.

Or

IPFN - Bilbo Baggins (“master of baths”) - The combination of a highly fluid identity and relative sensory preference in this mood means the INFP likes an inordinate quantity of alone time.

The 2nd applies unfortunately

I ran into this across another forum (not INTP), and thought it was interesting, so I'll share it here.

Basically, you check your function rankings according to whatever your last MBTI test was and post the "subtype" that lines up with your functions.

It's just fun, I guess. It's not really all that serious or anything

The link seems to be broken. I can't access to the main forum either, don't know why.

Why is this picture allowed. If it was a naked woman's figure in this picture it would be considered porn.
