I have no trouble identifying most of the types, but I don't believe I have ever met any of my own type (INFJ). I'm sure I probably really have - but I certainly don't recognize them.

Do you have trouble identifying your own type?

Females stand out like a sore thumb. But male ENFPs...I don't think I've met anyone who I could be sure was an ENFP.

Quite the opposite in my experience. I have an easier time identifying INTPs compared to other types. Hmmm. Maybe it takes one to know one.

It's a bit ambiguous question for me since I don't know for sure what my type is. ^^

but, I would be curious how to identify an INFJ. They supposedly have different eyes. I think I have an easier time spotting INTPs, of which I am not one.

Well I happen to be an Ne dom, which means it's pretty hard not to spot them.

Sometimes I can tell an INFJ... but when you meet a person at first glance, it's difficult to say exactly what someone's type is.

I actually find INFJs one of the harder types to read at first, less body language give-aways, but then, that can become a give-away in itself.

When you are speed reading a type, look at their body language and eye movements, MORE eye movement is a intuitive characteristic, more of a 'stare' while talking is a sensor trait. Note how often they pause while talking which can give away if they are an E/I.

I was actually just thinking about that. I'm an INFP (borderline INTP though) and I seriously doubt I've met any...sadly, that I know of, there are hardly any introverts in my life.

I'm guessing it's hard to identify people of your own type because you know yourself so well, and thus the differences between yourself and even others of your own 'type' are amplified.
