    Default phlegmatic smile

Aren't most INFP's phlegmatic or just generally the emotion is muted or hidden. INFP I know always tries hard to show a big smile and I can still see obviously they are phlegmatic as with the INTP I know. Just can. It is hard to try to equate with us choleric people who can't hold back our intensity and beaming enthusiasm.

Melancholic/Phlegmatic as in the four humors?

Great. I go away for a week or so and people start comparing me to pedophiles... such is life.
Take the weakest thing in you
And then beat the bastards with it
And always hold on when you get love
So you can let go when you give it

Yes, I am melancholic. I think INFP e4s may tend to be melancholic and INFP e9s may tend to be phlegmatic.
Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)
