Stop belittling yourself, puppy. I certainly don't think you are crazy.

I'm feeling elitist. That is a GOOD thing (some people don't understand that).
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

If you don't agree about my MBTI type, you can complain about it here. I've had plenty of people telling me I'm something else, in my reputation box. That's annoying.

Totally disillusioned, damn it! How the hell am I supposed to accept the death of an ideal that I've held since puberty?! This is kinda painful.

You are not alone in your frustration. It reminds me of the Beatles song "Fool on the Hill," which I interpret as the public dismissal of a really insightful guy for looking beyond the obvious "the sun rises and falls" theory to see that, in fact, the earth is moving. Others don't understand it, so they assume it's foolish.

    Here are some lyrics:
    "Day after day,
    Alone on a hill,
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him,
They can see that he's just a fool,
And he never gives an answer,

But the fool on the hill,
    Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
    See the world spinning 'round.

    ...

And he never listens to them,
He knows that they're the fools
    They don't like him, ..."

I understand your frustration. This happened to me frequently when I was in elementary school. I would present an idea to them, something I felt was important. In fourth grade, there was one group-work assignment we had to do based on saving the environment. They were going to build a gravel mine just down the road from me, and I felt strongly opposed to it because I thought that the dust would negatively impact the environment and be unhealthy for people to breathe in. I suggested that the group add that as an environmentally friendly rule, "No building gravel mines." Majority of the group didn't accept the idea, and I didn't understand why; I felt like the idea was useless to them, and they didn't understand me. I cared for my neighborhood, and I felt that their actions denoted that they did not share the same sentiments that I did. It was very frustrating.

I still have to remind myself on a day to day basis that a rejection of my ideas is not a rejection of me.

So, just to let you know, you are not alone in this!

I feel excited! I think I have a great idea... I just need to make sure it is viable.

Seriously? You're pretty intense, bcvcdc. It was about sex. My ideal doesn't and probably will never match reality.
