Over-stimulation. Too many people, too much talking, too much neediness and pulling me in many directions.
Busy weekend ahead and the thoughts of it are overwhelming me.
A lot to do- so little time.

I wish I could put the world on pause. Quiet. Sleep. No noise. Everyone please go away.
Sorry, Azul! Is there anything you can get out of for this weekend?

actually ... no. lol That is the tough part.
But just your message makes me feel better.
Got some sad news about a friend right before I typed this- which made my whole world look glum.
I hope tomorrow is better. Thanks again!

Addendum to my +1 rep, I recently spent all day puzzling over something kind of like that. I was walking home and saw an older guy nearly get hit by one of the stupid drivers around here, and make a loud scene and swear at the driver (who was just quietly shocked) before walking away. I felt an anger come up at the guy who had yelled faster than any reaction toward the driver, and concluded later that it was because the sound of somebody else being upset shakes me out of my detachment zone on a physical level, and I am averse to that. But, more than to an accident almost happening? Even though I expressed none of it, I was guilty for quite a while about my inward reaction to what I saw. Maybe that guy had a family at home who couldn't afford to lose him.

Funnily enough, the same thing happened to me on the way home the next day, and all I did was expressionlessly point at the "walk" sign and keep going, feeling nothing but "Ok, that just didn't happen. Next..." Have you ever been like that when facing danger?
I was in the passenger seat of a car, the driver was drunk. He got angry at something someone in the back seat said, and he stomped on the accelerator, and lost control. We went over a cliff, (did a flip), and as we were in the air, time slowed down and I simply said "Welp, we're dead".

Everyone survived, somehow, with just some cuts.

Later on we were talking about what happened and everyone remembers me saying that vividly, and it's now a meme.

I just walked home after the accident, didn't even wait for the ambulances and what not to arrive.

It was a tranquil stroll through a park, on a quiet autumn morning compared to some things I have experienced, and still do.. On a daily basis.

That is unfathomable, and all the comforting thoughts in my heart are for you only tonight.
