The sleep monster is all OVER me. I just polished off half a pizza. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and double cheese. The cheese was about 8mm thick.

Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age. They will talk up to a certain point and see how it goes. If you're still listening they will carry on.

Either that or they may just be an a**hole. I have literally called someone a f***ing a$$hole before and they thought I was their best buddy!

Ironically, the current source of drama is angry with me because I supposedly "don't listen". Even though like 75% of our friendship was me listening to her and me accommodating her. So you may be right.

I'm wondering if the real issue is that there were times when I "didn't listen" when she expected me to, and when she would have listened if she were in my position. (There's a big superiority complex component to her anger towards me.)

Nervous! I am coloring my hair, and I always have a mini panic attack as I'm waiting for it to set because I'm freaking out about potentially being allergic to it (yes, I did the sensitivity test). I have a new type of dye this time, a henna color. Fingers crossed that it turns out well.

I don't really know anything about your situation... but this makes me think of a friend of mine... who is a good person, but I let her walk all over me because I had a total girl-crush on her. Later when we actually became friends-friends, she was sort of blown away sometimes when I wouldn't bend over backwards anymore. Which is not to say that you bent too much to her, but I think often socially-aware people try to be more accommodating especially in the beginning of a relationship, and later the other person just doesn't get that it can't always be inequal like that and be a healthy friendship.
