I've felt the same way, but I also know that, especially as an ENxP, I can't work on something I am not thrilled over. I'm still looking for awnsers, myself, but I think that narcissism would be a good trait to develop, since many of us ENxP's don't have enough of it.

I'm personally really beggining to doubt I'm a real feeler, as I don't feel any real direction.

I am a little excited and little trepidatious as I go walking in the Botanic Gardens on Black Mountain for I am going to dance half way up Black Mountain.

I danced there the other day and ran smack bang into my abreaction. After my meditative dance in front of the most beautiful Gum tree, I was hit by low feelings.

Very rarely do I feel low but this was unmistakable, but I didn't know why I was feeling low. I didn't know for quite a while until I realised I wanted to say, "Mummy, look at me". And then realising that Mummy rather than validating something new I had discovered, wanted me to look at her, wanted me to validate her. And being a good little boy, I buried my disappointement, and gave my mother the attention she craved. In fact I gave her narcissistic supply. I was her narcissistic supply.
There is NOTHING--absolute nothing--half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Simply messing.
