I don't mean to make this forum into my personal migraine diary, but I figure I'll follow this last one out since I documented my last few here in a couple places- I'll copy it down in a notebook later, & continue to do that instead. (doc suggested I keep a diary of them to track frequency/other symptoms)
I'm slowly turning the Random Thought Thread into a blog and no one has complained yet, so you're probably in the clear here.

    I feel frustrated. And terrible.

It came back late last night & went from the right side of my head to the left. That hasn't happened before. Usually stays on the right. Pain jumped up from a 3-4 to about 7-8. I was just curled in a ball on the couch holding my head. Extreme nausea, & vertigo to boot. I laid there with my eyes shut, feeling like I was spinning. It happens, but not that often. All I kept thinking was, please.. stop..

Woke up today- it's still here. Pain's about a 5-6. Nausea is still pretty bad. I took a bunch of ginger, some meclizine. Not really helping much. I could take the pain if it weren't for feeling so nauseated. Ugh.

I was reading (at this point reading won't affect the duration of this shitty stupid migraine) about adverse cardiac fx of the Imitrex I'm prescribed for migraines. Well that fucking sucks. The one medication that actually works (when I have it onhand/take it in time at onset) can cause sudden death. Hooray.

My body fucking hates me. I want a refund/exchange.

Underneath this I still feel hopeful. Better things ahead. I know that.
But I won't lie, the immediate moment is crap.

I feel like I need a really good cry. Just as a release of emotions. I'll put Brokeback Mountain on then...

I feel like I need to cry more and more each day; Overall, I'm not even sad. Ain't teenagehood great?!

Confused! Why do a bunch of people have @Jaguar's avatar upside down?
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.
