Weary. And curious. Our society is so used to order, what would happen if something truly bad happened. Even stoplights being out seem to confuse people. How do we take turns without the lights telling us what to do? Or favorite businesses. It says to "order here" but "pick up" here--what are we gonna do if my restaurant is so busy (because other businesses are without power) they have to order and pick up at the same place. It's just scary. Simple things. What about the big things?
..and why would people hide their families in drainage ditches when there are storms--of course your babies are going to be washed away...and lost forever.
I feel a pain in my middle right torso, where I tore a muscle about ten years ago.
"But you forget that there is one value that is greater than all others: human freedom. Because no matter how perfectly you set the world up for humanity, they will always rebel simply to exert their own selves. You cannot win."
