I was feeling great yesterday: the sun was shining, I went for a nice walk in the afternoon, I met a friend in the evening. It was nice.

Then at about 3:30 am I woke up, having only slept for about 20 minutes, with a dry eye. I may have mentioned that I get dry eyes. What is a dry eye? The way my optometrist explained it it means the glands that secrete tears in order to keep the eyeball lubricated for some reason cannot keep up with the eye's lubrication requirements. My eyelid quite literally gets stuck to my eyeball because the film of tears that normally keeps it moist has dried out. Then when I open my eye the inner layer of cells on the eyelid and the outer layer of cells on the cornea, which are as I said stuck to each other, tear apart.

I am sitting on my bed right now, in the dark, having had a mere 20 minutes of sleep all night, typing this with the only normally functioning eye I have at the moment, the screen brightness on my laptop turned all the way down so as to soothe the other eye, which feels like it's on fire.

Oh and did I mention said dry eye also happens to have a stye on the lower eyelid? This is the second time in my life I've ever had a stye. Right now it's big, it has been making the vision in my eye a little blurry for the last three or four days, and with every little movement the stye is irritating my already irritated dry eye.

I'm bored out of my mind and can't really do much of anything to keep myself occupied. Looking at this screen is probably exacerbating my condition, so I can't even keep myself amused by reading. I'm tired but my body is feeling a "second wind", so I don't feel like sleeping, but I can't do much of anything else at the moment.

Sorry for TMI but it's hard to think of anything else at the moment, and I have no one else to share with.

Oh! I just remembered that yesterday my husband and I talked about getting another dog, and I just became really happy!

Mad... just realized my cousin stole my favorite casual purse! I mean, she didn't steal it; I let her use it while she was here, but when she left she took it with her. I said she could take the suitcase, but not the purse. So yeah, she kinda stole it.

I am frustrated with a friendship of mine. Overall I am happy. Though I have lost my exercise routine and I hate that- I need to find balance again in that regard! Typical ENFP I guess- I''m all over the place!

    Understanding.

I talked about this with someone before...about being a semi-public figure. You have to take the good with the bad.

This means that when I do stuff for my building, it may also mean that neighbors take me for granted and do ridiculous things like call me in the middle of the night, without any logical reason to.

Anyway, I am a lot more understanding of public figures.
And I'm much more understanding than my INTJ. Last night, he was ready to wage war.
