Really tired. Been working way too much (bunch of people had everything from car trouble in the cold to the flu, so I had to cover), but now i'm off work for nine days!
It's going to be really nice to sleep

Like a major screw-up. I missed some important details in my work and only realized it after I had submitted it. They say making mistakes builds character or something like that. I just wish it didn't feel so gutwrenching and that I wouldn't beat myself up for a really long time for it. Fortunately I'm able to fix the mistakes and resubmit it, but still, this sucks.

Every Friday evening, I promise myself I'll work through the backlog over the weekend and catch up. Every Monday morning, I wake up to the cold realization that I've failed miserably and that deadlines have moved that much closer.
