I honestly can't tell the difference between an NF and a NT half the time.

I was hoping more experienced members might be able to give me some advice. How do you guys spot whether or not a person you meet on the street is an F or a T (I'm talking about casual contact with someone who you DON'T know intimately)

Also, is there a way to guess the personality type of someone you meet online, based solely on the way that they type?

Well...

F = personal
T = impersonal

What do they talk about?

I was actually thinking about a character in a book called 'Into the Wild.'
The story was written about a guy named 'Chris McCandless' postmortem. The exact manner that the kid spoke is unavailable, only 2 year old accounts of what the people who he met are in the book.
