YouTube - Love and Theft - 12 Sugar Baby

I got my back to the sun ícause the light is too intense
I can see what everybody in the world is up against
You canít turn backóyou canít come back, sometimes we push too far
One day youíll open up your eyes and youíll see where we are

Sugar Baby get on down the road
You ainít got no brains, no how
    You went years without me
Might as well keep going now

Some of these bootleggers, they make pretty good stuff
Plenty of places to hide things here if you wanna hide íem bad enough
Iím staying with Aunt Sally, but you know, sheís not really my aunt
Some of these memories you can learn to live with and some of them you canít

Sugar Baby get on down the line
You ainít got no brains, no how
    You went years without me
You might as well keep going now

The ladies down in Darktown, theyíre doing the Darktown Strut
You always got to be prepared but you never know for what
There ainít no limit to the amount of trouble women bring
Love is pleasing, love is teasing, loveís not an evil thing

Sugar Baby, get on down the road
You ainít got no brains, no how
    You went years without me
You might as well keep going now

Every moment of existence seems like some dirty trick
Happiness can come suddenly and leave just as quick
Any minute of the day the bubble could burst
Try to make things better for someone, sometimes,
you just end up making it a thousand times worse

Sugar Baby, get on down the road
You ainít got no brains, no how
    You went years without me
Might as well keep going now

Your charms have broken many a heart and mine is surely one
You got a way of tearing the world apart. Love, see what you done
Just as sure as weíre living, just as sure as youíre born
Look up, look upóseek your Makeróífore Gabriel blows his horn

Sugar Baby, get on down the line
You ainít got no sense, no how
    You went years without me
Might as well keep going now

YouTube - Lou Reed The Bed

This is the place where she lay her head
when she went to bed at night
And this is the place our children were conceived
candles lit the room brightly at night

And this is the place where she cut her wrists
    that odd and fateful night
And I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what a feeling
And I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what a feeling

This is the place where we used to live
I paid for it with love and blood
And these are the boxes that she kept on the shelf
Filled with her poetry and stuff

And this is the room where she took the razor
and cut her wrists that strange and fateful night
And I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what a feeling
And I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what a feeling

I never would have started if I'd known
that it would end this way
But funny thing, I'm not at all sad
    that it stopped this way

This is the place where she lay her head
when she went to bed at night
And this is the place our children were conceived
candles lit the room brightly at night

And this is the place where she cut her wrists
    That odd and fateful night
And I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what a feeling
And I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what a feeling

    Jackson Browne - These Days
(It is my theme song. )

    Well I've been out walking.
I don't do that much talking these days.
    These days...
These days I seem to think a lot
About the things that I forgot to do,
And all the times I had the chance to.

    And I had a lover,
But it's so hard to risk another these days.
    These days...
Now if I seem to be afraid
To live the life that I have made in song,
Well it's just that I've been losing
    For so long.

Well I'll keep on moving, moving on.
Things are bound to be improving these days.
    One of these days...
These days I'll sit on corner stones
And count the time in quarter tones to ten.
Don't confront me with my failures,
    I had not forgotten them.
Just because I'm an INFP doesn't mean I'm emo!

No, more like that they have terrible taste in finding ways to spend freetime. So it's worse than you thought.

Lou Reed, Patty Smith and Jackson Brown in one thread. A veritable hat trick of stuff I can't stand. I guess I'm an estj after all.

I'm not convinced that not liking non-infp music picked by infps is evidence that you're estj, especially since my estj dad I don't get along with at all has been flying the same America song for the last 30 years. You con doo mah-gic! Ugh.

I don't believe JB is an INFP, but I suppose the title of the thread is ambiguous anyway...
