I don't want it, I just need it, to breathe, to feel, to know I'm alive.

Never take life to seriously.. No one gets out alive in the end anyway.

But I need too much... I would be unfair in my expectations.

What do you need? What expectations? For the NT to not say hurtful things? I don't think that's it... It's more like a mental barrier. Self imposed one.

I tend to get along very well with NT's, but the majority of NT's are males for sure. (male NF here) They are the people I have strong intellectual connections with, as I do with NF's.
I only dated once but want to get into the scene again. I'm terrified though. I fear putting my heart on my sleeve just to watch it get stabbed.

What is it that brings them together? Besides the obvious "N".
This is what Keirsey has to say about INTPs and ENFJs. I would image it would be similar for the other variations:

"This relationship-the ENFJ-INTP-can be "deep and meaningful" for the former and anchoring in a charismatic way for the latter."

Keirsey also speaks of shared symbolic language between NFs and NTs.

I have an INFJ partner and find the issues we have all revolve around the N function. While my N is derived from "thinks" hers is most certainly "feels". Usually I can give reasons for "hunches" - rational ones I hope - she seldom can. That said she is extremely good at judging situations and people with minimal obvious information and is almost always right. I find this rather uncanny & mystical and am slightly jeolous.

Sadly when it comes to non-social stuff like financial planning I have witnessed "lucky" colours and numbers come into play. In short the N lets her down badly in many scenarios. LOL.

    Moth to the flame indeed.
