    Ne's more breaking something apart to figure out how it works, and then either remake it, or improve it using known principles. Ni is simply breaking it apart so it can be reassembled into something yet undetermined.

    What is broken apart depends on a person's preferences (N or F)

    Yeah, I could see that. Making it into something totally different after breaking it apart. Just read it differently.
