So, Aleksei, I'm in agreement that the median IQ for this site could be higher than whole population IQ.
It could be.. but the evidence does not support it.
the evidence suggest a collective of very average people of very average intelligence.

    I iz smart.

I was under the impression that 125 is a fairly high IQ? I think it's a pretty useless test either way.

Didn't see it. I'm a genius but I'm not without my flaws... I have severe ADD and I believe I have Asperger syndrome as well.

I mean how else can you explain a retort that includes a difference between 100 and 98 on a scale that spans from 10-200 as it's argument when I just explained that the differences are less pronounced than you imagine.
It wasn't an argument, it was a correction.

And then I am asked if I have ever met anyone with an IQ of 80. I am thinking it's a big yes.. yes!! I sure have.
No, I'm really, really sure you haven't. I have to assume you haven't, because assuming otherwise would be a grave insult to your intelligence. I lived with an ESFP woman with an IQ of 95 (psychologist-certified), and believe you me people with IQs that low are nowhere to be found here. Just so you get an idea of what I'm talking about, Forrest Gump had an IQ of 82. Mental retardation is officially defined as having an IQ of less than 70.

I can only hope all my adversaries be as bright as you.
    Why, thank you.

I know someone personally with an IQ in the 80s and this is tested when he was younger(20s). He is far from stupid. He lacks analytical skills, but honestly in this world you dont need any. He is a good pool player, he is a good and honest salesman, he is far from stupid. He is one of the people who excels in things that the test doesnt test that is actually used in life.

I personally see no benefit in having a high intelligence. Being intelligent honestly sucks. Slightly above average is good, but anything above that just causes problems.
    Im out, its been fun

Christ Aleski.. I just worked in a warehouse.. You think a few those guys might have lower average IQs.. you know the guys who have been there for 20 years and have never done anything else. Please don't tell me what I know and don't know.. i have encountered enough people who would score low average on an IQ test and they are far from idiots.
You are extremely judgmental, especially towards people you have never met.
You also think everything can measured by numbers and fit into little boxes.
You sure you aren't an ISTJ??

See how easy it is to make assumptions based on very little data and evidence?

And.. you are forgetting what I said about self proclamation ..

If you have to say it ,it isn't true..

You are a certified genius? Then show me your Mensa card or give it a rest Einstein.

Right functions. Wrong order. besides I'm far too much of an attention whore to be anything but an extrovert, so I'd be ESTJ if anything.

From the link that was given at the beginning:
Moreover, if you encounter an INTJ, there is a 22% probability that his IQ places him in the top 2 percent of the population. (Disclosure: I am an INTJ.) Next are INTP, at 14%; ENTJ, 8%; ENTP, 5%; and INFJ, 5%. (The next highest type is the INFP at 3%.)
So, if you pick a random person, there's a 2% chance they're "Mensa material" and if you pick an INFP, it's 3%. Not too bad, I guess.
