don't be fooled. we infp gals are in the gutter too.
we're just usually too ladylike to express that in mixed company.

Yeah. She's likely reacting to the sheer bluntness more than the topic itself. Make the same joke, but challenge yourself to make it a bit more subtle. Good chance she'll gasp, then laugh really hard.

Eh, I'm skeptical with this one but I still might give it a try.

I do like discussing serious topics with her. She's intelligent and unlike a large number of guys with whom we both associate, is good for a serious conversation. Shes good to bounce ideas off of. I'd normally get either laughed at or stared at incredulously by most of my other peers.

There's a big difference between bluntly forcing the punchline on her, and leaving the punchline open ended enough that she has to make the connection herself.

With the latter, she's no longer a 100% innocent bystander in the joke, as SHE is the one that made the connection. Of course, if she IS really innocent, then she won't make the connections.

Well, I don't usually force the punchline. I usually leave it open for whoever else is listening to figure it out. The problem comes when the vulgarity of the joke is realized.

She may not be as innocent as I assume, but not being willing to admit to such scandalous thought is just the same as not thinking it at all. I don't really want to force people to operate outside of where they are comfortable.
