Depends on who you're asking. I have an entire social circle of introverts..they would call me extraverted yes. My extraverted collegues at work however...they're not so convinced

Depends on who you ask. I'm some people might swear I'm an introvert.

yeah....that's it for me too. awhile ago i was talking to a friend and saying how it was hard when i moved away because i missed all my people...and realized i was an extravert and tend to get depressed when not out and about with friends very often...and he laughed and thought it was so funny i didn't realize i was an extravert...so i think it does just greatly depend on who you ask and it what context they know you.

also...i think i've read that we're not ones to compete for attention so if there's a more extraverted person around...we'll just kinda hang back or something...i can't remember exactly...maybe it just depends on our company more than it does other extraverted types?

or maybe i'm just moderately expressed...whatever.

No, I have a personality which makes me clearly extraverted. Also my aura is very autonomous and independent, though caring and outgoing. Some people mistake me for a thinker in real life, but never for an introvert....

However, I don't do the clubbing/party scene and draw clear lines with work and school, which makes some colleagues think I'm a party pooper. That's not the same thing as an introvert, though.

I think it depends on if they know me or not. My friends, yes.. People I just met, probably not so much. I think I carry confidence with me either way, but once I warm up to people it's easy to tell that I need people in my life.

I think Wonka made an amazing point, I do get my energy from things outside of myself, Music and nature being my biggest donors. I leech off of music like an infant on it's mom. But I'll answer the question based on socialization since it is what other's would use.

Dude, I was on vent and he was on, and I was like, this guy is aaaaawesome!!!!

The fact that he is an ENFP and totally fracken-cracken hot is just a bonus.

    That face of his,

He looks like that guy from the show The Wire, damn sexy.

I'm pretty shy in large unfamiliar settings. I would be considered very shy and likely more of an introvert before warming up to a few people. I don't have trouble talking to strangers and often enjoy it although I don't seek it always. I won't necessarily strike up a conversation with someone at a store or event just to make conversation. If someone starts a conversation, I'm comfortable continuing it but don't need it/want it.

All this changes when I travel -- it's like a switch has been turned on. I'm a complete extrovert when traveling and really enjoy talking to everyone (save creepy men) who is willing and able (my foreign language skills are limited).

I need outside stimuli so I likely get cabin fever sooner than most people (I can't go more than a day without in-person contact with the outside world). I feel drained and lack energy when that happens. I also need recharging on a regular basis though.

I guess a moderate extrovert and pretty shy in new settings would be a fair characterization.
