Now HOW did I know from the thread topic that the poster would be a big fat P?

A big yes to music. Doing the chore with a friend and talking (this could be counter-productive depending on the friend). Also: DAYDREAMING. Basically, anything to distract me from what I'm actually doing.

OK, my first thought reading this: Chores are fun already! Typical ESTJ, lol! (But then again, I ALWAYS do chores with auditory distraction.)

I second, or third, or whatever, everyone who said music. Generally anything auditory would be good, e.g...
*Podcasts
*The news (from the other room)
*Radio

It also helps to play mind games with yourself, e.g. telling yourself "Hey, this'll be great, because it gives me an opportunity to listen to podcasts/music/radio that I otherwise wouldn't have!"
