I'm going to be really confusing and defy all the other posts...

GO for it. You won't know until you try, and if you don't do it, you'll always just be wondering, what if? Just be aware that it might not work out, and that's okay too. You know what you MAY be in for and so just keep that in mind!! Follow your heart.

Where I work, I tend to feel the most comfortable around the ESTP parents and kids (moms, ha ha ha). Interactions can go so smoothly that I wish I had a friend in the flavor. It feels like someone's lifted the iron curtain and I can be myself without having to second-guess.

But that Fe draws me out of my foggy cloak without making me overly wary of the individual.

If you like the person, try it.

    Forget about type.

People need to stop using MBTI as some predictive measure of overall subjective compatibility. It's just ridiculous.

Predictive? I don't predict how relationships will work out. I observe and interact over time. The concept of making friends is purely hypothetical, as is dating.

Do INFJs like mixed signals? Do you think that that is that a question?

Hypothetical? All these "can x type and y type work" threads are about implementation...

If we're talking about averages, that's one thing. But when we're taking specific people and generalizing them into types, we lose tons of data. If you're talking about two people, talk about the two people, not some archetypes that approximate them.

He's in the military now, but he visited last weekend and we had the most hilariously fun time shopping for movies in the movie store. He began quoting Borat at me, and I laughed and laughed. I really couldn't stop. His smile is just the funniest thing. I love his sense of humor sometimes, and he has the most amazing memory. I mean, he was quoting Borat word for word. Dom Se's, LOL.

One thing I will say though, is that my bro can be surprisingly easily offended and nasty sometimes. I don't know what triggers it, but I've never been treated worse than by him when he's being nasty.

We've had our fights in the past, but I think my brother is overall a really funny and interesting guy. Forceful, but fun.
...It's like your brother is my brother
lol, no, but that's fantastic. My brother is of the same personality, and the same can be said for him, and he has also gone into the military.

I think I could connect with someone like my brother, but he's incredibly smart too.

sorry, that was a bit OT
