So I'm applying for new jobs, but honestly cannot get the motivation to write a decent cover letter. It's well paid too, the particular job I have in mind....a bit different to what I'm used to. I hate it when I muck about...I have to be serious, because come September I have no job.
How do other P's light a fire under their butts, when they need to?

I'm highly P, but if I want something bad enough, I chase after it.

It's that simple.

Usually the only way I can do it is right away. If I don't do something right away then it might take me forever to get to it.

Just do it. Right now. As annoying as they are, the thing with cover letters is that once you have a basic template, it's easy to adjust it to work for most any job. After you've kicked out four or five, it becomes automatic.

Hokie, I have a standard template. I forget how good it is until I review it.

Groove jet, the point is I don't really want to leave this job I'm in. Any way it's done. Just have to send the e-mail.
