[ENFP] ENFPs cognitive functions test results :)

Just like every other test, I get different results every time I take this one. As a ENFP, I'm untypable ;)

Therefore, I'm ENTP
Time to change the type in my profile

I know this throws me off on Te:
Stick to making decisions based on impersonal measures such as points earned.

I can't not consider others feelings in my decisions, no matter how trivial they are

Does anyone think it's weird that all six ENFPs on this page have better Se than Si and better Ti than Te?!

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENFP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: INFP, or ENFJ

See now why I always test X? Ne, Fe strongest followed by Ni, Fi respectively. I nearly always test 50/50 on the J/P function...this result reflects that. I had average to good use on everything except Si, which is true according to my Si idiocy. Good test, thanks.

Man my functions was Ne-Se-Fi-Te-Ti-Ni.

I just reckon that if you have Ne and someone you look up to had Se, as an Ne dom you can learn to imitate Se. It's a damn useful function. I'm glad mine's as strong as it is.

I tend to get a massive Fe and Ni bias on that test also because they can appeal to Ne Fi. Also Te comes out weaker than it should.

Try http://www.cognitiveprocesses.com/assessment/develop_old.html

It is similar, but the grouping helps you link the statements and get their context. Ni and Fe on it had little appeal to me, even though the questions seem the same.

This is my use of each function as percentage (cos I had that in my signature :))

100% Ne
91% Fi
82% Te
68% Ti
59% Fe
55% Se
45% Ni
23% Si

i reckon there's a larger probability for bias with knowing exactly what you are answering to. you are essentially typing yourself as you'd like yourself to be, not how you actually are.

which is why i take your results with a grain of salt.

my results are these:

extraverted Sensing (Se) ******************** (20.6)
limited use
introverted Sensing (Si) *********** (11.4)
unused
extraverted Intuiting (Ne) ************************************** (38.4)
excellent use
introverted Intuiting (Ni) **************************************************** (52.6)
excellent use
extraverted Thinking (Te) *************** (15.8)
unused
introverted Thinking (Ti) ****************************************** (42.2)
excellent use
extraverted Feeling (Fe) ******************************* (31.2)
good use
introverted Feeling (Fi) *************************** (27.8)
average use

i tried the test about 4 or 5 times, each getting results ranging from high Ne ESFP to INTP and INFJ, what with answers that could have been either way and double checking definitions. if anything, this just further invokes my disbelief towards the site.

i'm not one to say i'm not a changeling, but this test really fluctuates without hitting the middle.

Just screwing around I put all the results in excel just to sort them to see what range everyone is in. I guess I'm trying to reverse engineer the test to figure out what constitutes an ENFP result.

They are all over the place...

Ne Fi Te Si - No matter how I sort it the people that came back ENFP as first result are mixed all within. Same with secondary and tertiary.

Wierd!

ENFP's (those that posted the full result of the test) look like they are within the following ranges:

Ne 35%-49% - 41.72% Average
Fi 32% - 50% - 40.23% Average
Te 9% - 33.6% - 22.21% Average
Si 0%-49% - 19.35% Average (WOW)

Thank you very much, Alexx. Most useful to see everyone's results in some sort of ordered way.

I really should work on my Te. That's the moral of this topic for me.

I found I switched to Te when in an emergency situation. I didn't know that I could do that before an incident I experienced. Afterwards I was surprised how calm and practical I was able to remain, courtesy of Te.
