Usually my husband will come up with an idea on how to do something or fix something and it's a great idea but he gets too focused on it and can't bring it into reality well and then I will start coming up with ideas on how to bridge the gap in some real way and this is how we best work together.

Conversely I'll have an idea but it's vague or too formless and he can help me center it down to something more defined.

I've often felt that my INFJ friends were getting the shorter end of the stick.

But one very important INFJ tells me I bring fun and spontenaity to his life.

    I'll take it.

What you say has some truth to me, I admit. My previous statement was aligning more with your second paragraph. Sometimes, I really wonder if there is that much difference between the two types... it all seems so blurred at times.

I help him by expanding the vision out to make random connections, he helps me by expanding the vision inward, concentrating it. (Just trying to say what I am saying more clearly.) And the types are very different actually.

    heart,
i am pretty confident that i'm a 5w4 sx/sp too. when i read about j/p, i feel like i lean ever so slightly towards j, altho i adopted more and more p traits as i have gotten older. i identify or have convinced myself i identify much more strongly with the infj behavioral descriptions i've read in addition to the function types (Ni Fe Ti Se). long story short, i don't know if this adds up or if i am perhaps mistyping myself.

i don't really like the way infj-infp relationships feel from the infj end, but nonetheless i love every infp i've ever met. i'm inspired by the depth of their feelings and convictions, and their ability to feel so powerfully w/o becoming callous makes their lives very artful and inspirational and purifying like trees taking in carbon dioxide and turning it into oxygen. they themselves are the art, whereas infjs are the voice or the poet or the echo.

i'm still working on my understanding of this.

When the sun is in midday at 10am or 1pm, then it truly becomes inspiring and heart warming or is it later?

I'm borderline INFP with ENFP, and I have a few INFJ friends- mostly girls though..I think I only know of one INFJ male friend. The majority of my friends are INFJs, INFPs, INTPs, and ENFPs.
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

Interesting. What don't you like about the way the friendship feels?
