And here's a poem I've always loved that sounds very ENFP to me (it's probably longer than what you were looking for with this thread, but I've been waiting for a good excuse to post it somewhere ).

    The Invitation
    by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
    for love
    for your dreams
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon...
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by life's betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
    from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain
    mine or your own
    without moving to hide it
    or fade it
    or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy
    mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your
    fingers and toes
    without cautioning us to
    be careful
    be realistic
to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me
    is true.
I want to know if you can
    disappoint another
    to be true to yourself.

If you can bear the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
    If you can be faithless
    and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
    every day.
And if you can source your own life
    from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure
    yours and mine
and still stand on the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
    "Yes."

    It doesn't interest me
to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after a night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
    to feed the children.

It doesn't interest me who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the center of the fire
    with me
    and not shrink back.

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom
    you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
    from the inside
    when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone
    with yourself
and if you truly like the company you keep
    in the empty moments.

Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

The poem 'The Invitation' is amazing. I would say that this song is a little like an ENFP at their most vulnerable, when they are most open (and worn out - before their rechargable battery of life charges up to full again)

    Christina Aguilera: I Am Stripped

    I am timid and
    I am oversensitive
    I am a lioness
    I am tired and defensive

You take me in your arms
    And I fold into you
    I have insecurities
You show me I am beautiful

    Love me or leave me
Just take it or leave it
It's not that I need it
Just need you to see me

    Take me, free me
See through to the core of me
    Take me, free me
There will be no more pretending

    I am temperamental and
    I have imperfections and
    I am emotional
    I am unpredictable
    I am naked
    I am vulnerable
    I am a woman
I am opening up to you

    Love me or leave me
Just take it or leave it
    It's not that I'm near
Just need you to see me

    Take me, free me
See through to the core of me
    Take me, free me
There will be no more pretending

Now I stand before you with my heart in my hands
I'm asking you to take me just the way that I am

    Please lay down your heart
    Do you know me?
Make me feel safe from harm

    Oh just,
    Take me, free me
See through to the core of me
    Take me, free me
There will be no more pretending

    I am temperamental and
    I have imperfections and
    I am emotional
    There'll be no more pretending

and my own personal motto (that I made up):

dance on the edge of the world, reach to the brink of insanity, don't sleep, LIVE until you wear yourself out, so your face is sore and your mind is stretched and your body worn. drink and drink until only the dregs of life remain untouched untapped
If there is anyone who is in the sun would you help me to understand? 'Cause I've been caught in between, all you wish for and all you mean. Oh now maybe you're not even sure, what it's for anymore than me...

    -Joseph Arthur, In The Sun

If I find my way, how much will I find?

i love christina aguilera's songs. she's got so much soul. i really love "beautiful" too, but i think that's more IxFx than ENFP (plus she didn't write it, someone else did! i didn't know that )

We're All in This Together - Ben Lee

    I woke up this morning
    I suddenly realised
    We're all in this together
    I started smiling
    'Cause you were smiling
And we're all in this together
    I'm made of atoms
    You're made of atoms
And we're all in this together.
And long division just doesn't matter
'Cause we're all in this together...yeah

    I saw you walking
    In the city
    We're all in this together
    The city's changing
    Cause we are changing
And we're all in this together
    Every 12 seconds
    Someone remembers
That we're all in this together
In the kitchen of your rent-control apartment
    We're all in this together

Come on baby, I don't mean to rush you
I only wanted to reach out and touch you
I've got to start to open my heart

I know you think about jumping ship before it sinks
But we are all in this together
    Ask a scientist
    It's quantum physics
We are all in this together
And on the subway we feel like strangers
But we're all in this together
Yeah, I love you and you love her and she loves him
But we're all in this together

You know, baby, there's never been protection
In all the history of human connection
Come on, darling, it's alright to show me
You don't ever need to be lonely
Once you start to open your heart

    I saw you crying
    I started crying
Cause we're all in this together
And then religion is a big decision
But we're all in this together

We are all in this together
We are all in this together
We are all in this together
We are all in this together

The Circle of Life - The Lion King (1994)

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to be seen than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done

Some say eat or be eaten
Some say live and let live
But all are agreed as they join the stampede
You should never take more than you give

    In the Circle of Life
    It's the wheel of fortune
    It's the leap of faith
    It's the band of hope
    Till we find our place
    On the path unwinding
In the circle, the Circle of Life

Some of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars

There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

    It's the Circle of Life...

    A Whole New World - Aladdin (1992)

I can show you the world
    Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did you
    Last let your heart decide?

    I can open your eyes
    Take you wonder by wonder
    Over, sideways, and under
    On a magic carpet ride

    A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no
    Or where to go
    Or say we're only dreaming

    A whole new world
A dazzling place I never knew
But when I'm way up here
    It's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you
Now I'm in a whole new world with you

    Unbelievable sights
    Indescribable feeling
    Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
    Through an endless diamond sky

    A whole new world
Don't you dare close your eyes
A hundred thousand things to see
Hold your breath, it gets better
    I'm like a shooting star
    I've come so far
I can't go back to where I used to be

    A whole new world
    Every turn, a surprise
    With new horizons to pursue
    Every moment, red-letter
    I'll chase them anywhere
    There's time to spare
Let me share this whole new world with you

    A whole new world
    That's where we'll be
    A thrilling chase
    A wondrous place
    For you and me

Just Around the Riverbend - Pocohontas (1995)

What I love most about rivers is:
You can't step in the same river twice
The water's always changing, always flowing
But people, I guess, can't live like that
We all must pay a price
To be safe, we lose our chance of ever knowing
    What's around the riverbend
    Waiting just around the riverbend

    I look once more
    Just around the riverbend
    Beyond the shore
    Where the gulls fly free
    Don't know what for
What I dream the day might send
    Jut around the riverbend
    For me
    Coming for me

I feel it there beyond those trees
    Or right behind these waterfalls
Can I ignore that sound of distant drumming
    For a handsome sturdy husband
    Who builds handsome sturdy walls
And never dreams that something might be coming?
    Just around the riverbend
    Just around the riverbend

    I look once more
    Just around the riverbend
    Beyond the shore
    Somewhere past the sea
    Don't know what for ...
Why do all my dreams extend
    Just around the riverbend?
    Just around the riverbend ...

Should I choose the smoothest curve
    Steady as the beating drum?
    Should I marry Kocoum?
Is all my dreaming at an end?
Or do you still wait for me, Dream Giver
    Just around the riverbend?

For me, an ENFP can be summed up in three words:

    Pure unconditional love.
