They can be, of course. But I don't think I have the same random Ni flashes of deepness that they occasionally have. I think I run deeper than that, if you get me? I know ESxPs specialize in living in the moment and can be incredibly observant and psychical bold human beings who do what they need to do to survive and are wonderful people to know.

Or I've just been blind-sighted, and am stuck in a lop right now, developing some functions which turn out to be useful commodities for me. It's strange. I have been using my Ni a lot lately, and have turned out to be correct on more or less every instance. Not sure where it is in my stack though, but I understand it a lot better than I understand Ne.

And I've been listening to a lot of Ni-based things at the moment. Very insightful.

This is why I am so lost.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

Well I find it can be harder to type yourself as you become more self-aware because it involves exploring different parts of yourself that you haven't previously considered before. Sometimes I even wonder if I'm secretly an ISTJ from the way I behave sometimes. So as you get under more and more layers the more circumstantial your traits become and it makes things less clear-cut. And then I guess it just becomes a game of trying to understand where your preferences really lie.

I think @Corn Dispenser was right though, and all that seems ExTP. I think your perceptions are much more receptive and tentative like a Pe-dom and you seem more concerned with that than executing actions like a Je-dom. And I think Ti in ExTPs can add a analytical and hypothetical quality to their thoughts.

Not sure any real INTJ would have Lana Del Rey as their avatar.

I'm pretty sure the Lana Del Rey thing is a reference to something else. And it's cracking me up.
Winterman is coming through the forest down to his Chrimbus cave inside the woods. Now's the time to tell him everything you want inside your Chrimbus bush!

Really? ExTP. Call me blind, but I'm just not seeing it at the moment. I can see Je just as likely as people can see Pe, to be fair. I have ADHD, and I know that has something to do with it. I'm not incredibly anaylytically organized, and I find that Ne tires me out sometimes. To be fair, I am an ENFJ in Socionics, and I know it doesn't correlate with MBTI as well. Unless you're stuck in an Se-Fe loop, which is actually quite common, and manages to mislead people.

Of course, there is a chance that my Ti is so well developed, that I can't notice it working within my psyche [as well as my Ni]. That's the problem with Introverted Functions, imo. You know they are there, but you can't see them working within you, because you focus a lot more on the outward side, especially as an Extrovert. Some well developed ESTPs can get mistyped as ENFJs, and vice versa. Enneagram motives play a role too. An ESTP 9w1 is going to appear more like an IxTP than the stereotypical extroverted persona of the majority of ESTPs, just like an ExFJ 8 (yes, they exist) will seem a lot more like an ExTp than the the typical 1/2 winged majority.

The individual defines the result as much as outside opinions/forces in a lot of cases. After all, you know yourself better than anyone else, and can make decisions based upon that unconscious knowledge in your psyche. Everyone has a conscience to a degree.

True. It depends on your development levels, like I mentioned above. Behavioural patterns alone aren't enough to go on. Just because you don't act like 'X Type' all the time, doesn't mean you're not one. Humans are eratic beings. Our unpredictable nature is what makes us all exciting. Makes us all unique. If everyone of "X Type" where to act exactly like "X", then there would be no point in MBTI. I see it as a guide, and not a defining tool. Yes, it has helped me understand people a lot better, but it hasn't taught me how to read minds xD

(Yeah, pretty much a lotta things you wrote I have mentioned above. Check out my post to Corn).
